California Institute of Technology, the absolute pinnacle of scientific knowledge and cutting edge research. This university is truly a spectacle and an inspiration.
There are beautiful landscapes, gardens and walkways. The architecture is different for every building, ranging from early 1900's to modern and futuristic.
Beautiful campus for a nice walk. We did a self guided tour based on a guide on their website and learned a bit about the institute's history and what is studied in each building.
Very cool and clean campus. Enjoyed visiting it earlier today. There’s a bit of a strong veg smell however.
Serene and elegant. Campus is not that big, but it is incredibly beautiful. I lived in San Marino for two years. I took a lot of pictures then. Every time I look at these pictures my mind is immersed in a tranquil atmosphere.
A beautiful campus that is very well maintained and open to the public + in a great location in the heart of Pasadena. From green open spaces, to peaceful water flowing through rocks river-style, stylish cafeterias and modern buildings, it’s a pleasure to walk around. Great place for running/ cycling / walking your dog.
Sorry but I couldn't give CalTech 5 stars. Why? They couldn't'even make their T shirt right. I wore it 3 times and there was a BIG hole already! No wonder we returned your broken cannon! None of MIT garments ever had defects and I finished my PhD there in 1993. Hey Caltech, shape up or stop selling this T shirt. MIT would never do that. Sorry we stole your cannon. But at least we didn't sell it to Harvey Mudd!!
It's pretty small as far as campuses go; it's a great place to take a walk around. Academically speaking, it's one of the greatest schools in the world;)
We went on a self-guided campus tour - the gardens and open spaces were open to visitors.
This has to be one of the most beautiful places to study and learn. We really enjoyed touring. The campus is sprawling and very nature-oriented.
The turtle pond is a must-see, given its historical significance! You can read about it in the Self-guided tour online.
